Nice and fresh. Good for midday break from work. Easy in and out. Located in the Oxford Market (lower food court) of the One Oxford Centre building. No gluten free soy sauce. However, taste is still good. (Salmon avocado and cucumber rolls.)

I’m very rarely downtown at lunch time, but every time I am, I look forward to eating at this place. A friend introduced me to this restaurant years ago and I’m so glad they are still around. It’s counter service and they only take cash (and FYI, they don’t accept the juror discount vouchers other restaurants in this food court do). Service is brisk and professional. My food was ready in just a few minutes. I always get the kyu-don, and it is DELICIOUS every time. It’s a pretty generous portion of beef, egg, and rice. I like it with the oil added on top to give it a mild spice. I’ve been tempted to try some of the other things on the menu — they all sound good — but the kyu-don is so good I just can’t not have it. I’ll be looking forward to coming back the next time I’m downtown!

Nestled within the Oxford Market’s lower food court at One Oxford Centre, this snug spot serves up a variety of authentic dishes—from traditional sushi rolls like the Alaska Roll to hearty, comforting meals such as Kyu-Don and Tonkatsu.

What truly stands out at Sushi and Rolls is the balance between quality and convenience. Whether you’re on a quick lunch break or craving a flavorful dinner, the friendly, efficient counter service ensures your meal is ready swiftly without sacrificing taste. The customer favorite Kyu-Don, a generous bowl of tender beef, egg, and rice, exemplifies the restaurant’s mastery of classic Japanese comfort food. Its rich, savory flavor—often enhanced with a mild spicy oil—keeps patrons returning regularly. Equally compelling are their rolls, such as the Spider Roll and Crazy Roll, praised for their freshness and bold flavors.
